Dr. Alekbarov Jabrayil Alekbar oghlu

Doctor of Medicine. Honorary Professor of Kurgan Ilizarov Center (15.06.2021). Department head, International ASAMI (Ilizarov) society, member of the Presidium, Chairman of Azerbaijan Ilizarov Society.

Education:

• In 1974, he graduated from secondary school No. 3 of Masalli city.

• In 1979-1985, he graduated from the Faculty of Treatment and Prevention of the Vladivostok State Medical Institute.

• In 1985-1986, he completed an internship at Sverdlovsk City Hospital No. 20.

• In 1989-1991, Clinical Ordinance, Kurgan, Russia

• He defended his candidate thesis in 2000. Kurgan, Russia (Re-attestation, 2010, Azerbaijan)

Work experience:

• In 1986-1989, he worked as a physician-ordinator in the Department of Deformation of Long Tubular Bones in Children of the Russian Scientific Research Institute of Orthopedics and Traumatology in Kurgan.

• In 1989-1991, he completed a clinical residency in transosseous osteosynthesis at the Russian Scientific Research Institute of Orthopedics and Traumatology in Kurgan.

• In 1991-1993, he worked as a traumatologist at the Traumatology Clinic of the Azerbaijan State Institute for the Improvement of Doctors.

• He worked in Turkey under contract in 1994-2009. 

• (In 2001, he worked as an Associate Professor at the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology, Faculty of Medicine, "9 Eyül" University, Izmir, Turkey.)

• From January 2009 to July 2010, he worked as a doctor-traumatologist-orthopedic at the Baku Traumatology and Orthopedics Clinical Hospital. AR related to the suspension of the hospital. He was appointed by the Ministry of Health as a doctor-traumatologist-orthopedic at the Republican Clinical Hospital named after Akademik Mir Gasimov. AR from 06.02.2014. He was appointed head of the Department at the Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics by the Ministry of Health

• On October 7-8, 2016, he gave a speech at the TOTBID "Prevention and Treatment of Posttraumatic Complications Course of Abscess, Deformity and Infection".

• On June 16-18, 2016, he spoke at the international scientific-practical conference "Masapovskhie chteiya" in the city of Kurgan, Russian Federation.

• The special issue of "Azerbaijan Orthopedics and Traumatology Journal" delivered a report at the scientific practical conference dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the II Congress of Azerbaijan Traumatologists and Orthopedists and the Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

• On November 3-4, 2016, he participated in the International conference "Trauma 2016: Application of modern technologies in orthopedics" held in Moscow.

• Employees of the methodical organization department of the scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the 2nd Congress of Azerbaijan Traumatologists and Orthopedists and the Scientific-Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan, held on November 12-13, 2016, took an active part.

• On March 02-04, 2018, he participated as an instructor in the "Uludag Trauma Meeting" held in Bursa, Republic of Turkey.

• On March 9-10, 2018, he participated in the course jointly organized by the European Pediatric Orthopedic Society EPOS, which was held in Baku, Azerbaijan.

• On March 30, 2018, he participated as a speaker in the conference of North Caucasian traumatologists and orthopedists on "Modern approaches to diagnosis and traumatological and orthopedic patients" held in Makhachkala, Republic of Dagestan.

• On March 1-3, 2019, "XV. Uludag Orthopedic and Traumatological Days" was the moderator and gave a speech.

• Since 1997, he has been a member of EFFORT (European traumatology-orthopedic association).

• He is an Honorary and full member of the Society of Orthopedists and Traumatologists of Turkey (TOTBID).

• He is a member of the advisory board of the International ASAMI (Ilizarov) Society.

• He is the chairman of Azerbaijan Ilizarov Society.
